If you’re driving south toward the Florida Keys, Masala Mandala is one of the places you can stop for a fresh, complete meal before the 18-Mile Stretch.
We’re just off US-1 in Florida City, behind Denny’s, between the Quality Inn and Travelodge—and about 30 minutes from Key Largo.
Everything we serve begins with whole ingredients. Our curry bases, marinades and chutneys are made by us, and your meal is finished when you order it. Because of that, we recommend placing your order about 25 minutes before you reach Florida City.
That gives us time to prepare it, pack it, and have it ready for you to pick up on your way south.
What to order
- Feast for One — if you’re traveling alone, a complete meal without having to piece dinner together.
- Feast for Two — $36—just $18 per person—and more variety and value for the drive. Feeding four? Order two feasts.
- Samosas — if you just want something for the road, our handmade samosas are easy to take with you and come with our house-made tomato chutney.

How far is Masala Mandala from Key Largo?
About 30 minutes. We’re in Florida City at 333 SE 1st Ave, just before US-1 takes you across the 18-Mile Stretch toward the Keys.
When should I place my order if I’m driving down?
We recommend ordering about 25 minutes before you reach us. That way, we can be preparing your meal while you continue your drive, and Masala Mandala can be a quick stop along the way.
Does the food travel well in the car?
Yes. We pack our meals so you can comfortably take them with you—whether you plan to eat along the way, at your hotel, or once you arrive in the Keys.
