Dinner After the Everglades
If you’re spending the day in Everglades National Park and heading back toward Homestead or Florida City, we’re here when you’re ready for dinner.
Masala Mandala is in Florida City, about 20 minutes from the Homestead entrance to Everglades National Park. We open at 4 PM, so you can place your order as you’re leaving the park and we’ll start preparing it while you make the drive back.
Our curry bases, marinades and chutneys are made by us from whole ingredients, and your meal is finished when you order it. After a day outside, we’d love to make dinner one less thing you have to figure out.
What to order
- Butter Masala — chicken or paneer in our creamy, house-made masala sauce.
- Samosas — handmade with your choice of lamb or veggie filling and served with our house-made tomato chutney.
- Feast for One — a complete meal when you’re ordering for yourself.
- Feast for Two — $36, just $18 per person, when you’re sharing dinner or want more variety.

- When: Monday & Wednesday–Sunday, 4:00–9:00 PM. Closed Tuesdays.
- Order ahead: call/text 786.505.4210 or order online — every meal is finished to order (20–30 minutes).

How far is Masala Mandala from Everglades National Park?
About 20 minutes from the Homestead entrance at the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center. We’re at 333 SE 1st Ave in Florida City, just off US-1.
Are you open after a day in the park?
Yes. We open at 4 PM and are closed Tuesdays. Place your order as you’re leaving the park and we can prepare dinner while you make your way back toward Florida City.
